They really know thier job and are great little squirrel hawks. There is hope for the weasel after all. I don't think you will find a coop that will take a squirrel. ;D

Just one for the moment. I want a tiercel and the wife is planning to get a Harris when she gets her General too. We may fly them in a cast then.

If I have time to build another mews this season, I will trap an RT, but otherwise, it will be just the Harris for this season.

Then we would be one big happy hunting family! ;D Not if I can get my schedule worked out! I will have a new hunting partner by next season as well so she might want to take Bane out as well. Yarak

A cast of harris hawks working together is something to remember. They are so smart I bet rabbits have nightmares over them.

In one of the California videos they fly 7 harris hawks together but then they even fly casts of red tails. In one flight a jack gets away from 5 harris hawks and then commits hari kari at the end. I laughed until I cried. ;D

We had six going at once at the NAFA meet last year and it was basicly a slaughter for the jacks. The birds would just pile in one at a time until the jack stopped running.

Noel, my sponser, Jim Guy, has flown several harris hawks both male and female. He has a female right now. We spent 2 days trapping them last year and had a ball. ;D
