Ya im really glad that i get my first bird this year i have a great sponsor that is really watching my ever step. Guys i hope you all do well this season and we need more falconers so if your in the middle of the the waiting game hang in there.

Way to go!!!! Have you already had your mews inspected?
I finally got my state permit 9 days ago. It took a month to get my permit after everything had been done on my part. I called Kamile today to check on the status of my federal permit and she said that she had not received anything from Jennifer regarding my state permit, but she would call her and check on it. Then she said that after she receives a copy of my state permit that it takes her at least 60 DAYS to process the paperwork. So I am looking at the middle of October, which isn't too bad. But I would ask Jennifer REALLY NICELY to process your permit quickly and then fax a copy to Kamille so she can get started on it. Not really sure why it could possibly take 60 days to fill in a name/date on a form permit...but that is the Feds for ya!

Yea I heard it takes a while. My mews has not been inspected yet so I am waiting on that. So it will still be a while. I hope to get my license in november. Congrates on all your stuff.

Ask Kamile to fax a copy of the permit to you. She did that for me and a few others.
