I e-mailed and called state and federal offices a couple of times to let them know I was in a hurry because of trapping season. I was always polite and thankful. It took two weeks for the inspection papers to get to the state office. Than 2 weeks after that for them to fax mee the papers.

Thanks Kenbro, that gives me a little ray of hope to get a hawk this year. Still need inspection though.

Your best bet Longbow is to do what kenbro77 mentioned.
Call and always be polite, It's difficult to be but it's the best bet. I know that Jennifer at TPW is also having to train a new worker which is slowing the pace a bit. However if you call Kamile and if you have access to a fax number offer it. Do whatever you have to do to make their jobs easier and if you can acknowledge that you understand they are busy they will remember that you treated them like a human being. It goes a lonnngggg way!
Think of it like this, those two have your falconry career by the balls don't give them a reason to make it more painful. If your nice and decent then they will be...
It took me roughly 5 weeks to get my federal after my inspection and hopefully I get my state this week.
