Any signs up north that the passage birds are coming to Texas this year? This cold front should at least push one weak passage down here for us to fight over !

I have actually seen less birds. I was thinking this last cold spell would have brought them down, but I think it moved what we had out and none came down. I went right on by . Any ways I have not seen a single RT in a week.

Utah's been loaded for about 2 weeks with one on every other pole. The past week has been getting into the negatives at night so theres probably a few headed your way

Longbow, It is honestly better to buy the $70 Kansas hunting permit and head up there. They have all the birds right now. We just came through there and we counted hundreds of them with about a 50/50 mix of passage and hag birds. Kylie and Aaron just came back from trapping there and they got a passage dark bird at the first exit across the Kansas border.

I have heard of a few passages around the metroplex from one of my buddies in southlake. He's keeping an eye out for me. I'll let you know after next Thursday when finals are over and I go trapping with nothing to stop me

I drove all day today. Exactly two passage birds (and I'm not positive one wasn't a red shoulder).
I may be headed to Arkansas or Kansas, but I don't plan to wait another year.
If anyone in Texas is seeing any birds, please let me know. Hello East Texas anyone?

I drove all day today. Huntsville – College Station – Bryan – Madisonville – Love Lady – Trinity – Riverside - Huntsville.
I didn’t see a single passage RT. Hopefully the cold front this weekend will help.

I was finished with my finals thrusday and have gone out trapping everyday since. I have only seen 2 dark morph passages in the Greenville area. Neither came down to the trap. I'm seriously considering Weasel's notion of the $70 bucks for the kansas hunting/trapping permit.
