I honestly don't know what his bow perch looks like, his wife keeps everyone away from the house (long and funny story really), I told him that I was going to put the ring on the main bow, like I've seen mostly on the pics and plans I've seen. He told me that those are the cheap ones, and that any nice ones have the ring on a second bar, his reasons made since, and I feel like he really knows what he's talking about so I'm not going to worry about it. Like a googling 5 year old I'll prolly be outside watching my first hawk out in the weathering yard all the time anyways, so I'll be there to instantly fix any problems that arise, and I'll handle the problem with the perch then. For now tho I'm going to be loyal, and stick to what the sponsor said (pretty much you'd have to chop off body parts before I'd change my loyalty).

6' man, I'm going to use a 100 yard leash!!! Bigger is better after all. You should come over and carry it around for like 5 minutes you'll very quickly come to the conclusion that is it not a portable perch. It's going to sit in my weathering yard. Hey man you've seen that baby bald I got, it's going to be getting bigger.
