I am currently working on a cookbook and came up with the best fried chicken, turkey, quail etc. recipe I have ever tried. I believe it would be great for squirrel or rabbit. Try it you will like it.
Wild Ed's Tabasco Fried Meat Mix ½ cup Tabasco ½ cup your favorite Italian Salad Dressing ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
Marinate meat pieces in mixture for at least 2 hours and up to overnight in the refrigerator. Coat in flour and fry. You do not have to add any seasoning to the flour or after frying as all you need is in the marinade.
I made a honey BBQ sauce and a honey mustard dipping sauce and my family inhaled it. Ed Thomas

1/2 cup is not that much, however you may want to save it to use again.
