A good epoxy should do it. ;D That's what i was thinking. also the fact, if anything goes wrong, cheaper to send back for repair or swap. They do look smart, and as ya say noel the top doesn't come off. I e-mailed em to find out lol. Given the choise NOW witch one would you go for assuming you could get em in texas

If they where both available here??.....I would take the KD-600....But this is also because I have one and know it well....I know nothing about that other type of scale. I bought one similar to it awhile back and found that the biggest problem was that it is too low for the tail feathers to clear...The KD-600 clears well.

I have just purchased a set of digital Ohaus scales from ebay very good price to. I have been in the market for a set of scales and was thinking of purchasing the triple beam ones, never even used digital scales before always preffered the balance type of scales. Main reason I wanted to get a new set was because of my intention to fly a smaller bird I needed a set that was able to deal with very small weight adjustments of the bird. The Digi set I have is able to cope with 1gram weight increments, ideal I thought. Anyway a guy I was chatting suggested that the Ohaus Digi scales would be ideal. There portable, easy to take with you whilst out hunting and no weights to lose either The other benefit that was suggested to me was that by taking the scales with you out hunting you can weigh the bird before and directly after. You can then work out if the bird needs to be fed extra rations etc there and then. This gave him the benefit of getting the birds weight bang on for the following days hunting trip as he knew exactly how much to feed. Excellent idea I thought especially when dealing with very small birds. Cheers, Spar
