Overpopulation is the biggest problem but not the most imminent. Misuse of our natural resources is something correctable right now. Sustainable resource programs are going into effect but not where they are needed most. In wealthy industrialized nations "we" have learned about biodiversity and sustainable harvests. Its the terribly impoverished third world countries that are causing the greatest negative impact immediately. Did you know China is worlds largest coal user? Once burned for fuel coal emmitions are terrible. Destruction of the rainforrest has change weather patterns in North America. Now, right now, the problem is not too many humans just too many stupid ones. My solution, provide me with a license to kill. I would devote the rest of time here to making planet earth a little smarter. Yarak

People need a wake up call to what they are doing, most of them are oblivious to the extent of the damage we have done and continue to do. As a wildlife educator I see this ALL THE TIME, that is why education is SO important and if our government would encourage it, then it would be a great start to begin making things better, the only way it'll happen though is if they get a fire lit up under their a**
