What would you prefer over an imprint? Passage, brancher, chamber raised? And why?

First , I would defiantly not wont a imprint ! This is a screamer ! They also tend to go through a defiances stage at about there third month , this is where they become Territorial and look at the parent as invading there space and are only wonted for the food they bring . NO FOOD ?? , get out of my space !! And guess who the parent is with a imprint ?? Imprints are also known for face grabbing ! Having been hit in the face more then once , by raptors , I can tell you it is no pic-nic !! Chambered , at least 70 to 90 days ! Let it get all the parenting problems out of the way with the real parents ;D! Then they'll still be young enough to form some what of a bond with the new owner , a trust , you might say , between the two ! Little noise , if handled right . No rebellions , over territory , less chance of becoming a face grabber ! This goes for a brancher as well , so long as you don't take it to soon ! Be sure the only down remaining , if any , is on the top of the head . Any thing less is to soon ! Passage , very nice ! But there is never a real bond between the two and you could end up with a stubborn bird not willing to cooperate ! ? I'd rather not take a chance with a passage , if I had another choose ! This is only my opinion ! ;D and every one is entitled an opinion!!

Just curious what your opinion was, so thanks. I raised an imprint male gos that turned out to be problem bird. Looking back, I realize a lot of mistakes I made that cause aggression and screaming that I think I could fix, but don't have the time now to commit to an imprint. I really want another gos, and may try a chamber raised or passage this year. The passage female coops I flew this past fall was wonderful and really got me wanting to try a passage gos. I've been bugging a bunch of people just getting general opinions, so thanks.
The chamber raised is really intriquing to me since it seems it could handle a mew better than a passage, however it may be too inexperienced as compared to a passage. A couple people I've talked to swear you should take a chamber bird at 50 days old, brancher stage, so you can deal with a lot of the fear, but avoid aggression and screaming. That way you can give it easy baggies as it pens so it will have some experience, whereas a fully chamber raised bird won't have killed anything and have a lot of fear to work through. Also, it seems the parent birds cannot be screamers or that's how the chamber bird will turn out too. Both have their pros and cons of course. It's always interesting to hear others' experiences though.

The Imprint Gos may scream bit if they are done right there will be no aggression. and they will catch alot of game. I flew one this year and he did great. I flew one some years ago and he got 98 head for the season.
