Whats the pros and cons of a passage Harris and a captive bred Harris. I figure by the time you trap and buy gas and come home empty handed after several thousand miles price is about the same, and only one comes with a guarantee. Also I would like to get suggestions on the best Harris books. Thanks Everyone,
Dustin

Having trained two CB HH's and one passage HH here are some "general" things I have noticed:
CB's are easy to to man PHH's take longer to man
CB's take a lot longer to enter on game PHH's are easy to enter on game
CB's don't tend to carry PHH's tend to carry and drag
CB's can scream on you PHH's normally don't ever
CB's can't be turned lose PHH's can be let go
CB's cost $500-$700 this year PHH's cost the price of gas
The pro's and Con's are evenly matched, I'd take the PHH over the CBHH if given a choice for most of my hunting needs but ...........
