Hello and welcome. Speaking of experience, I'd love to hear more about your parent-raised gos; training style, problems, housing, etc.

plenty hours of manning vary the people that fly your gos all through the training process(when you are there obviously), take him indoors on a perch and let the kids act as normal, all this makes a far more steady gos , i give him free loft with dowels on the front of his mews (they tend to bate against wire), get him used to the hood but don't hood him (good in the event of an emergence any more questions i will be more than happy to answer

Hey, thanks! What age did you get your bird? Did it have any human exposure at all before it was taken up? Any screaming or aggession problems? For some reason I think you're in the UK, and I know you can't use baggies there. A lot of people here start their chambered birds on baggies immediately, but if you weren't able to do that, did you just start feeding off the fist everyday, lure or both? Did it really make a difference not to have baggies as it seems an on-weight gos will chase most anything that moves? I like the comment about an indoors perch with kids. My 2 year old really helped man my last coops, but it was easy to put a pole perch in the corner and somewhat managable to keep track of the mutes. What kind of perch set up did you use for a gos? Anything you'd do differently now that you've seen how this bird turned out? Sorry about all the questions, but I've really been picking people's brains lately on this. I'll most likely get another gos this year or next so I'm looking at all aspects of an imprint, passage or chambered bird. Thanks!
