Hi
When going to choose a chic/Bird what do you look for?
Some say Size of Talons some say the most dominant. Is it different from say a Harris to a goshawk in what you are looking for? I have also heard that Chics fed on one Day old Cockerels is not good as this is not a nutritious source unlike feeding on Quail for instance which makes them stronger.
Many Myths how much Fact?

You are going to get as many opinions as people you ask I bet. I have a couple of mentors I can ask that will surely be able to give me a lenghty explanation on which is best. What does the breeder suggest?

HI there mate you best of getting a harris hawk because they can catch good quarry good birf to train with a goshawk its like a persons bird who knows what there doing and trained a harris hawk. a goshawk will also fly a lot further away for you so you will need a good telemetry set but to be honnest if you train your bird properly on the crance you dont need on with a harris because they are just a good bird with a raiting out of 10 out of 10 ask anyone that some people say a harris is a beginners bird there not there brillient for evey one as for your food you need some day oul chicks quail and i like a bit of hair . the only reson for this is becouse the hawk needs to get the best diot possable and you need to de yolk your chicks simpely by pressing down the chicks stomech and evrey thing you dont want just comes out.

Wow, I was worried there for a second, I thought this became a singles chat room, looking for chicks.
