a friend bought a male harris on sunday someone broke into his flight last night his mum heard the dogs at 130am this morning when she went to the flight a young man threw the harris at her jumed over the fence and the hawk went skywards still with leash and jesses fitted do they know the danger they have put this hawk in it is not yet manned and probly scared to death i just hope we find it still alive

Unfortunatly, I hear about this quite a bit in the UK. I would like to say that the bird will be found, but it is more likely that is is hanging from a tree limb. I would suggest that if the mews are not highly secured, then the other option would be to free loft the bird instead so that if it does get set free, it will have a chance of surviving a bit longer.
I sincerely hope that the bird is recovered and that the little s**t that set it free is found and beaten severely......

Or you could do what my grandpa used to do with his young rams, wrap a rubberband tightly around his pubescent little balls and wait till they fall off. Or maybe thats inhumane?

Better yet undress the offender smear him with barbecue sauce, blow on him some pigeon feathers and lock him up with some harpy eagles in a big zoo cage.See what happens next....
