What type of Anklets work best on an Eagles, owls or Ferruginous Hawks? With feathers all the way down there tarsus, what measures work best to prevent feather damage?

The eagles that we have at the center us the same traditional anklets as the other birds they are just bigger. you just want to make sure that you put the flat shinny side (of the leather) towards the leg and that will help reduce the amount of chafing on the leg. also keep the anklets in good condition with water proofing and what not that seems to help out as well bc it makes the anklets slicker. hope this helps out
