Does anyone have experience with the Communications Specialists R-400 receiver? If so, how would you rate it?
Thanks, Larry

I have it and have used it. It seems to work as good as the others out there such as the L&L and marshall. The big difference is that if you are flying a longwing, I would reccomend adding a yagi to it as the range is not as good with the supplied fibreglass antenna. It is small and can be stowed away anywhere so I like it alot......Plus it was cheaper than the rest!

I have one also and have used it once to locate my down when she was on a rabbit in heavy cover. Worked well for me, light and easy to use but like weasel said get a yagi if your bird might range out. Kurt

I just bought a Tracker Maxima and can't wait to test it out. It is the smallest receiver I've seen and is even smaller than my TV remote. I also have a L & L MN 10 that I was going to sell but decided to keep as a back-up receiver, mainly because it has a yagi. -Joe

Let us know what you think of that receiver as I was originally going to buy the 10 channel tracker, but I could not afford it.
