I have a 6 month old FHH, who started squarking continuously from first light until dusk at about 4 months old. She was parent reared and collected at 15 weeks and has recently been entered. The only way we can keep her quiet is to sit with her. Any ideas why she is doing this and any tips to keep her quiet?.

I've never owned a HH, so take what I say with a grain of salt.. that said, if it were me, I would apply an old adage for dogs "a tired dog is a good dog". Hunt her often and when you're not able to, find other ways to use up her energy, like jump-ups. Since they're pack associated instead of solitary like other raptors, I would guess that food association isn't the issue. It could be she just wants a more active part in the family unit. If that doesn't work, get a Redtail.
