I have hunted a male Harris for 17 seasons. The last couple of years were as productive as any of the previous. How long should I expect my hawk to hunt at this level and secondly, what is there life expectancy?

depends what you call successfull, a friend of mine has a female that is comming upto her 11th season and takes plenty of rabbits and i can't see him stopping her untill she stops catching rabbits, in captivity and god willing they can live for 25 years.
