I made a set of squirrel chaps using Gary Brewers video as a reference. It appears he uses suede to make his liner, I used a polished surface leather and made a really good looking set that will protect awesomely. I made them for a female redtail complete with bells already mounted. Heres the ? part. Mine are 63 grams for the pair complete with large brass bells, Are these to heavy?

They should be OK for a female RT. The ones I have that are straight from Gary weigh in at 27-29g each, so you are pretty close and my reds had no problems.
