Trapped a new passage bird the other day. She(I think) is a western RT. Weighed in at 1105g(38.5oz). She seems to be manning down fast. She was tearing meat on the glove the first day. She got the tour of the house on my fist, met the dogs, watched a football game etc. Now comes the jump to the fist game! I think I might have fed her a little too much. She's too content right now to be jumping to my fist, although she will take tidbits from it while standing on it....more to come-Tim

Taalberg, you have any pics of the tips of the tailfeathers of that bird? It looks exactly like a rufous morph Western that a friend of my intermewed but it's hard to say Western or Harlans without seeing the tips of the tailfeathers or the underside of the outer primaries.
