Any one a bird bander? Iam going to start banding this spring with a bander we are going to start with owls doing nest studies Iam looking forward to it I hope to become a bander one day.

i do banding with the rehaber i am with and i have worked on many projects with profesors and grad students at tech banding anything from bluejays to rts white tailed hawks and miss kites to name a few.

i love banding birds. we get a few birds we banded back everyyear (usually dead) or at least calls so we can get a little hint of where the bird was the condition before it died and all that good stuff.. so i like it but again i do it for reaserch perposes with texas tech not a hobby or anything.
