d**n, i was playing with my new puppy in the back yard in nothing but shorts today. I will never understand why people choose to live in cold climates. Amen....I thought it was cold today when it was 65 outside today......I had to move my chair into the sun...... ;D

Salamander is a slang term for portable forced air kerosene heaters. Don't ask me why just always heard em called that. That or RedyHEaters which is a brand name of some of them.

HEY GUYS ANOTHER ONE FROM MAINE HERE. IVE ALWAYS WANTED TO GET INTO FALCONRY BUT NEVER GOT STARTED . IVE RAISED MANY BIRDS OF PREY IN MY YEARS GROWING UP. IVE HAD 3 KESTRELS AND A REDTAILED HAWK . ALL WERE BABIES FALLEN FROM THE NEST AND STILL HAD THEIR DOWN FEATHERS. I TAUGHT THEM TO CATCH THEIR OWN FOOD THEN THEY WERE READY TO FLY AND THEY WERENT TAME OR DEPENDENT ON ME. ONE OF MY KESTRELS STILL FREQUENTS THE SAME FIELD THAT SHE WAS RELEASED TO WHEN SHE WAS READY. I NEVER HAD PERMITS BUT COULDNT LET THEM DIE . THEY GREW UP TO BE VERY HEALTHY AND WERE FINE UPON RELEASE. I WOULD LIKE SOMEONE TO POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION FOR PRACTICE TESTS OR LICENSING SO THAT I DONT HAVE TO WORRK ABOUT BEING CHARGED FOR TRYING TO DO A GOOD THING THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP
