I hear the New York state meet is going to be in the Catskills this year. The meet hotel will most likely be the Friar Tuck Resort, Spa and Convention Center in Catskill, NY.
Is that in your area?

Wow...I just looked it up on the net.....What in the heck are they having a falconry meet there for? Rooms are about 100 average a night!

Um... kinda. That's out by Saugerties, right? If it's where I think it is, it's about an hour and a half from me.

It looks like it's a little north of Saugerties. I'm ugessing it would be about a two hour drive for me from CT.

I guess the meet is to be held there because it is hard to get people to host a meet and Gino decided to be nice enough to host it. We have to look for a place big enough to hold all of us plus it has to have a place for banquet & meeting and also game enough for us to hawk. We try and have it centraly located in the state but it does not always happen.
