hello minca!with the goshawk i hunt ducks and pheasants and with the peregrine some kind of groose that we have here in greece!the pheasants we bought them because we dont have any wild ones left!unfortunatelly games is very rare here in greece and the places very difficult to hunt our birds.we have to travel 150 miles at least to find one good location to hunt..........

what birds do you fly and what did you hunt there?its great to know a woman falconer!here in greece we are only 5 or 6 maximum falconers and all that know us say that we are crazy!noone knows about falconry here so this is very difficult for us.we have to order all our accesories from abroad and if they send us!not to talk about the prices.......a bird that costs 1000 euros there we buy it about 3000 here!!!you are very lucky there.i read your reply about how to gain hight with my peregrine......i had tryied that allready but nothing.......she can fly 30 minutes at 50 metres without going any higher!!!!i thing i ll have to wait.the truth is that every month that i fly her goes higher but maybe i am hurry to see her at 100 metres up.......

youre obviously able to use the internet, check in on some sites explaining how to fly your falcon to the balloon or kite, people even fly their kestrels to these. make sure youre bird is healthy and well fed.
