Its just parachute cord. Its all the same thickness. Check out any army/navy surplus store. Or look on the net, there are tons of places that sell it.

Well, I finally got around to braiding some leashes out of the 130 lb dacron. I really, really like it. It's the right size and I like the wax coating on it. I have yet to braid some jesses. I'll have to use two cords of the dacron and two cords of a color. (The 130 lb dacron only comes in black) That way I will have the different colors for the different birds. Hope that keeps the jesses softer.

It comes in black, white and neon yellow, and if you look really hard you might still be able to find neon orange.

i was talking about dacron. paracord comes in like 30 different colors.

Hey Weasel
I've been using parachute cord for leashes for a while, I braid them and leave a loop at the end and slide it threw my swivel. they work great and are very strong. Now these jesses are great and as soon as I saw them here, I went to work to see if I could make my own but it was futile.
Could you please explained to me how do you attach the other end and pull it threw one more time. Thanks
