What style do you use? Length? Hole or no hole?

leather atm. about 8-10 inches, i suck at visual measurements.
Right now, im braiding some jesses out of dacron, gonna see how they work. Will be way stronger than leather, and much more durrable, plus they'll even be a bit lighter.

My finished jesses are around 8". I use a small hole when flying. When we are through for the day, I clip a small dog clip through the holes. I like this when the birds are on a kill. I have one that carries and she would be half way across the county by the time I finish cleaning the rabbit. This way I can clean the rabbit and not have to pay attention to where she is, she is securely clipped to my vest. I tried braided jesses, but for some reason they become too stiff after only a few uses. Very interested in the dacron.
