I would say those bullet jesses would be fine for the fist, but I would not perch a bird out with them.

The guy who makes these was at the CHC meet. They look cool, and i wouldn't mind trying em out on my bird, but i can make jesses MUCH cheaper than what he sells them for.
Its a case of a good idea, that just costs too much. Im not advocating them either way, but i can make my own out of leather or dacron for REALLY d**n cheap, and i know they work. I can't see how these could improve on what i have any. Especially at ll.5 lbs which is like 20 bucks.

Well let me take some pics of em. I should probably braid a matched pair, just so yall can get an idea of em. All the ones i've made so far have been snatched up as soon as i showed em to anyone hehe.

I'm going to start using bullet jesses this season whilst out hunting, to be honest i hadn't given them a second thought till I saw them being used by a guy on a video. I very much like the idea behind them.
Cheers,
Spar

My understanding was that they were originally designed for feild use only. For flying your bird jessless but having the ability to instantly rejess her the second you've got her back. If you don't plan on flying your bird jessless, then they would probably be of no use to you.
