- Hello all, these material is "bretheable" like leather for the inner comfort of the birds? don´t get like a suit for lossweight in the head of the raptors?, maybe these hoods still in a testing-time phase now? no healthy-cons? thanks, best regards. Roberto.

Just one observation: Leather is a porous and permeable material (even when painted) so I was wondering if using a plastic hood won´t have some side effect? Has anyone used those rubber boots for a long time and ended up with your feet all sweaty? Plastic can heat up a lot under sunshine. Please comment about your new hood and good luck.

it's looks great but might be gets too hot insideof the hood.... i think they need to modify a little...like some ventilation holes? you know what i mean? why don't you wear the holeless baseball helmet yourself under the sun and tell me what's that feels like. understand what i'm saying? lol

They did change the design so that the hoods are now vented.

I am thinking about buying one of these new hoods advertised on Raptor nest. It is made out of some injection molded plastic or something similar. He guarantee's that they will fit right. They look like they are a dutch style. I've not personally tried one but I know someone that has. It got thrown in the trash...it doesnt breath so the bird found it to be umcomfortable in warm weather.
