Looks nice! Is that a bearing race for the ring? Thats the end of an aluminum pipe that I cut off and polished up. I figured I would make it light.

how did you make that ring? looks way nice. what tools and such did you use? I had a guy bend 3/8 steel for mine just doesnt have the same look.

Ha ha I guess the ? should have been how do you polish aluminum? so there arent sharp edges. just sandpaper... sorry guess Im retared

I cut the end off a 2 3/4" I.D. aluminum pipe about 1/4" long. Than used a small right grinder with 60 grit paper to form the smooth edges. Than I used something called scotchbrite pad (steel wool will probably work) to polish to a smooth finish.

My Father works for a Used Tractor Parts and I gave him an example of a bowperch from Northwoods and he got a portable one and spikes. I think the portable one is a little too low but its like 5/6 lbs. I'll just have to wrap more to give it some height. It was about 20 bucks for both.
