Feel free to express your concerns and give ideas or ask questions. I have used this perch for 4 hours under my watchful eye and will continue to do so until I get comfortable with the design. It really solves alot of problems. First I can use it with only 2 ft of clearance around the base because the leash is so short and second it keeps him high enough so that he can relax but still be in the middle of my dogs and three screaming kids. So far I love it but only time will test my design. An added bonus is that when flying from the ground to perch it really helps with conditioning and the ring adds 58 grams to fly up with. Does anyone feel that 58 grams hanging will cause leg problems for my bird ? He does not seem to notice it but it is a concern with this design.

I have no opinions guz frankly I do not have enough experience. I was wondering that since you have already made it, could you post a picture.

I will get a pic up soon. I just want to test and redo a little before getting it painted and all. So far I reduced the ring weight and it seems great. Short jesses are needed to prevent the jesses from spiltting and looping the top perch. Same as for most block perches though.
