Ok, so I couldn't resist. I had to register so I could take a look see. It's a pretty neat site. I went to the bird gallery which had somewhere over two hundred pages of bird pics. I'd say about every tenth pic was a raptor and the majority of them were osprey and owls, but there were some other really good ones including harris's, harriers, kestrels, kites, redtails, eagles (bald and golden), peregrines and prairies, one gyr, and one aplomado. But then I stopped at page thirty.... There was a portrait of a harris a couple pages past the flight pic that I thought was nicer. There was also two or three bloody pics of raptors on their kill. Oh, and a wild european gos peaking around a tree trunk, that was cute.

Yup, its a great resource site for pics of just about any bird you're looking for...
I am a bird carver, mostly waterfowl decoys, but I am about to try my hand at a few Raptors...at least a few carved busts of them so I've been spending a lot of time on there saving reference pics so I can have some top notch stuff to look at while carving/painting.

That's pretty cool! Here a site for a falconer friend of mine back up in Wa. you might like. He flies a gyrkin he's named Maqette because he's used him as a model for alot of his work. www.mattesonsculpture.com/index.html

Minca,
Boy do I owe you!!! What a wonderful artist Ross Matteson is…his work is graceful and he has a wonderful eye for lines and symmetry. My long term goal is to eventually be able to produce bronzes and individual marble pieces of falcons and other hawks. He will be a source of inspiration for me as I start down this difficult road. Many, many thanks for passing his site along to me…<br> Regards,
Lee

I think he's pretty much scrapped the HH idea in favor of a coop.
