I'm going to fly Goose my female RT for at least one more season. After tax season(refund) I plan to upgrade my faciities and then I have not decided what else to fly. I will probably fly one of 3 things next, sharp-shin, HH, or ferrug. I'll just make the decision on what to fly next by what opportunity comes along first. I like McDermott's idea of getting an eyass sharpy and flying until oct. and putting it up early with increased photoperiods to induce an early molt and then flying the sharpy at birds in the summers when the big hawks are put up for the molt.

Weasel aka sadomasocist coop fan, Apparently McDermot is a big fan of the sharpy, vs other accipiters. He goes a little off tangent in the book ABP about how great they are. he has an article in one of the past Am. Falconry mags about how great they are. He also covers the winter molt summer hawking thing in that book you have that I covet so greatly. I've told you before all the info I read ranks the coop #1 most difficult accipiter of them all. GOOD LUCK! Lets go next year and get a couple eyass sharpies!

I have several contacts that have quite a few active nests located in Kentucky. I am working on getting some folks to cough up some info on nest sites in Arkansas too.......These are for sharpies, not coops.
