You could electify the door or the area under the door... "Cool door mat to wipe your feet... or crazy 10,000 volt electic mat?" muahahaha Hope your joking, it is illegal to lay a trap for criminals. Stinks but it is true.

Anyone who attempted to follow the Georgia Falconry Association link in Minca's post to the danger sign found it was broken. I completely rebuilt the GFA web site recently and did not include the danger sign in the new site. I just moved it over and the link now works. BTW, the redtail in the revolving images on the home page is my bird Zeta. Larry

a jewler in my town found out how his store was repeatedly getting robbed, by way of a high window above the door. He got a section of chain link fencing, and made a sort of a net below the window. made sure it wasn't grounded, then he got an old vacuum cleaner cord or somethin' and plugged the net into the wall. The jackass came again that night, and got a bad surprise. In fact, he died. Not the most humane way of doing things, but you better bet he ain't getting robbed again. Of course he probably won't be robbed again anyway cause they threw him in the slammer. Talk about stifling his creative genius. :-)
Oh, and on the subject of trespassers, i saw this totally awesome sign. it was one of those metal ones, like on ranch property. It read: "Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again." Though it might not be true for you Jon, i bet it'd work. R Demarest
