What about covering them in pvc? You can split it and slide it on and glue it back. It will last a long, long time that way. How thick are your rods? I can't believe your MALE apprentice wants to know how thick your rod is. That's wrong.

I would rather just replace them. By the way I am sure I can get the conduit for any one willing to come get it. Taking out a window and cutting all that metal pipe seems like a bunch of work as well....... No easy way.

On mine I just knock off bottom board and rods slide right out. re-install new rods and replace board. Oh well If y'all decide to switch to conduit, the offer still stands.

Thanks Kenbro77 I'll definately keep the offer in mind Lets see how it works out . I have 110 hours and 45 minutes until my inspection then waiting game really kicks into gear... (wease is probably laughing right now)
