Oh, I have! It's not rally that he was not manned, it was that it was so long ago that the bird has become wild again. The bird will fly to me no problem all over the place, but getting the little bastard to stay on the fist is the tough part. He tends to try a hit and run with the glove so I have been holding onto the food so he has no choise but to stick around if he wants to eat. As soon as he is done though, it's bate off the glove again. I just need to spend some time simply manning him so he gets over this fear of me. He is as happy as a pig in s**t when he fly's over to his perch,

Hey Weasel,
Sounds like a plan. Also Because Harris' are pack hunters they all have can you say an Alpha male . During your manning try and put your hand on top of him he will lower and get used to the fact that you are the alpha. Emma did the same things as far as snatching and I did the same thing you are. She learned quickly to stay put.

Got my MRth out for the first time this season on sun. Had several goodflights on rabbits and a few on quail ,(he did manage to hit the !@#$ out of a box turtle)but nothing in the bag. but it sure feals good to get back out there!!
