Hello every body just wanted to share with you my excitment at getting my first bird 2day.

It's a male HH he's 16 week's old and very carm ( think he likes me all ready lol )

I weighd him 2day he was only 1 ld 6oz and I have been told this is small for a bird of his age and considering he's just out the aviery.

He fed on my first more or less straight away which I was very happy about as I read in the book I have been learning from that they can bate alot and take time 2 settle in ( FALCONRY AND HAWKING P GLAZIER ) so im'e very happy and I hope 2 keep you all posted.

Any advice would be much appreciated' thank you.

About 70 day old ? Parent or hand raised? Or both?

deacon i wouldnt worry about it my mates male harris's flying weight is 1lb 6oz

I agree with Gamekeeper, My tiercel harris is at 18 ounces right now so yours sounds big actually..
