ouch!!! ok your goshawks, sharpshins coopers all are accipiters. they have long tails fairly short wings and are normally found in forested areas.

I plan on getting it soon. Iam going to fly an imprint male sharpy and from what I heard his book will guide you thru it, Ive read some of his writing in north american hunting hawks he knows his stuff. I want his old book too the imprint accipiter has any one heard about him making any more copys?

As far as the Imprint book goes he might start on the rewrite this summer. His new book deals with problems that can come up with accipiters like aggression. I've read it once and I'm reading it again. Lots of information, great photos. Kurt

I just got my copy of the new book in the mail this week...I glanced through it quickly when it arrived and the pics alone are amazing.
I leave Tuesday for a 10 day family vacation and plan on reading it during my trip...been saving it for then and have had a REALLY hard time not opening it up again and sneaking in some early reading.
