Check Ebay. It will cost you a few hundred dollars though. If you are willing to wait though I believe I've read that there is going to be a reprint.

McDermott will be re-printing this book as a second edition sometime this summer from what I understand. Good luck on finding a first edition copy as they are going for several hundred on e-bay now.

Been reading this book on the train while enroute to work and I don't really think it will do me any good until I decide to get an eyass as it is strictly designed for the imprinting of an accipiter as stated by the title. It's still a good read as he goes throught the basic mentality of each type of bird. I like his description on the coops....."A flying lizard"

Just an update on the rewrite. Mike has finished the text portion and is working on pictures. Depending on how long that takes the book should be ready for the printers in the not too distant future.Kurt
