A falconry glove is a falconry glove because it is used for falconry to hold a bird of prey....A nordic glove is a nordic glove because it was used by the nordics for the cold weather. ;D....

Uhh Duhh realy now? What I want to know is if it is worth buying one. How durable are they and that sort of thing, or would I be better off buying a traditional 3 layered glove?

This is a question your sponsor will answer for you. Leave the ACTUAL decision of brands and styles of furniture to your sponsor and you.

I prefer a double thickness glove for my harris but for smaller species you can easily get away with a single thickness glove.
