Does anyone have any photos of Traditions gloves?
I understand that if you have a logo of sorts, he will put it on the cuff, as long as you have it cut out.. and all he has to do is stitch it on. Does anyone have any suggestions for what one could use? It would have to be like a silhouette type thing, very simple, but I'm having a difficult time coming up with anything.
Thanks!

I was told that it is so that the hawk can see the movement more easily from afar when the fist is shaken.....Most people I know cut them off, but I keep it on as it is more traditional this way....plus more people recognize it as a falconry glove and therfore assume that I am a falconer instead of wondering why a guy is running throught the woods with a welding glove on....

Thanks Weasel. ;D I am thinking about going with a solid brown glove, and want ideas on personalizing it with logos other than that one.

I was told something close to what weasel was told. Well maybe a little diffrent. It can be used to call a bird down to the glove if you where to loose your food in the field. I tend to take them off cause they get caught on stuff when running after squirrels.

Zach, that's funny to me because I've actually done it. We used to use Falconcrest gloves at work which came with tassles. When we switched to the Pineos, I took the tassle off of my old glove and slapped it on the Pineo so I could hang it on a hook.
I was flying the Harris one day and ran out of tidbits. I stuck the frayed end of the tassle in the glove and called the bird down with that. She came right down to it, and messed with it for a few minutes trying to find a piece she could eat. It worked, but I felt like I robbed the bird, and I haven't done it since.

Yeah, I think that it's best used for emerganceys. Geeze Dodes you should feel that way cause you did "rob the bird". It's one hell of a back up though, if your heads not in the game that day. ;D

I have two logos on my glove. One is talon marks that look quite natural, and the other is dried blood, which also appears to be quite natural

I just got my new T glove in and man it is nice! I "almost" hate to use it. I went with a black on top of brown 2 layer. Even the wife thinks its sweet!
