Today I watched a flock of 300 or so cackling geese when out of nowhere a rt came into my fov. It stooped on the flock but didn't take one, i think it was due to the flock size. This bird passed up all the honkers and went right to the cacklers like it had done this before. The rt perched on a fence about 50yds from the flock and in 30 min made two sneak attacks. But before i got to see the coup de gras some dude walked through the field and scared everything away. It was a bummer....was hoping to share a story where a rt killed a goose!
