If y'all haven't heard. Melton international Tackle is selling 12packs of size 8 sampos both Black and Nickle for 54.49 with standard 2-3 day shipping. A lot better than 7 dollars a swivel IMO.

Yup, I order them through Bass pro shops for about the same price. Much better than the one-at-a-time thing!

How does one order from bass pro? Do they have them at the store or are they truely special order items? I've looked at other sporting goods places and never been able to find them or get anyone to order them.

I have been there and they had them in stock sometimes. Usually the black ones. I asked the guy at the fishing counter and he showed me the catalog where I can order them. I only ordered throught them once and I got 3 individual Sampo's, but you can order more. I haven't checked their online store yet, but I would think that you can get them there too.
