Jennifer's awesome IMHO. She was very understanding when I was setting up my appointment to go to Austin to take my test because I'm in college and classes aren't that flexible. She went out of town and my paperwork came in after she left but she was very prompt with calling me up. When I went to take the exam she let me use a spare cubicle and once I was done she graded it on the spot.

yeah...i understand that but after you passed the test you must find a sponsor in just A 30days!! in California as far as i know...so, let's say if you couldn't find one you'll waste your money . so, if you are already a falconer and able to be a sponsor someone they should be willing to help every new apprentices aggressively.

Hey! I'm 13 (soon to be 14) and have been wanting to do falconry for at least 4 years. My Dad says it's cool with him, on the account of catching dinner instead of buying it, but my mom has other problems. For one, we live in an association (not my choice) and they have strict rules. Like, I cant have a mew in our HUGE yard, cant keep a wild bird, and dog runs have to be approved by the association. I hate it! Anyway, around the corner (and within sight of our yard) there is a empty field. I would have to ask, but do you think that would be a good spot to build a mew? The field is in sight of a road, but if I build it in the back of the field I don't think it will be a problem, but I want another opinion. Also, I would make most of the equipment my self and after i turn 14 I plan on getting a part time job at my sister daycare as office help. I would borrow money from my parents to start and pay them back after time. I wake up at 6:30 and leave at 7:30 for the bus stop. If I do falconry, should I feed my bird in the morning (I would wake up earlier everyday) or when I get home at 3:00? School work takes at most an hour so I would do that at night so I would have plenty of time to work with my bird before I go to bed (at 10:00). What do you think? I do not give up easily and am often stubborn so if I have to I'll wait until I'm on my own, but all I can think of is falconry, 24/7! Oh! and I live in MN. ;D

Hey, I'm from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and currently burning through the internet researching everything I can find, luckily I found in my research that my local library ACTUALLY has a decent number of falconry books. Granted, it is my belief, that two knowledgeable individuals are more valuable than fifty books, so if anyone from Louisiana wouldn't mind sharing emails with me( or anyone else) I would love to talk with you, and get to know you, hear your views, experiences, advice. Oh yea, why is the LA falconry site so destitute? If you have any questions for me feel free.
